26.02.2011 – TURISAS ANNOUNCES DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL (UK) APPEARANCE; MORE FESTIVALS TBA

We are proud to announce that TURISAS will be playing at Download Festival 2011. The world famous festival takes place June 10-12, 2011 at Donington Park in Leicestershire, UK. Other bands on this year’s billing include System of a Down, Disturbed, Def Leppard and Rob Zombie, among others. Turisas’ breakthrough performance at the mighty Download Festival in 2007 can be found on a special edition of the band’s sophomore album “The Varangian Way” (2007).
